"And I, [Insert Name Here], Will Not Deny The Christ"

Hi friends!

This week I went to "the land of the gringos" - Santa Bárbara and had a fun time climbing up and down hills. I didn't know that Santa Barbara was so hilly! It reminded me a lot of my first area (El Mochito). But yeah, this week we did divisions and I served in Santa Barbara for a day with Elder MacDonald. Meanwhile, in my area, Elder Lopez lead the area by himself for the first time and did an amazing job! While he was here he invited Diana to be baptized and she (more-or-less) accepted! Even better, she came to church on Sunday and enjoyed the meetings! The baptismal date my companion put is for the 8th of June, so please keep her in your prayers so she can feel the holy ghost and receive a testimony of the gospel. We also had a busy friday in the branch where members got their temple recommends, sent names to the temple, where we had mission coordination and seminary was held. During mission coordination Glenda and her daughter Esmeralda (who just got baptized) were present because Esmeralda got her temple recommend. While we were chatting and coordinating with the members the ward mission leader asked Glenda when she was going to be baptized and she said that we just needed to choose a date. So she's now on date to get baptized this Thursday. We've been teaching her for a while so she already has enough church attendances and lessons taught. She just needs to be interviewed today and she can receive that amazing blessing of a new covenant with God. She may also be able to go to the temple soon now that we have a temple trip on the way.  We're still working hard and we're still improving. Even with nearly 2 years in Honduras serving as a missionary, I still feel like there is a lot of stuff that I can improve on. I suppose that growth is constant. Anyways, this week we're going to have interviews with President McClellan and a mission-wide temple trip (and a baptism too if everything goes well) so I'm excited for what's coming up. I'm finishing up the Book of Mormon this week and I am so grateful for another witness of Christ that has blessed my life so much. I love what Moroni says in Moroni 1: "And I, Moroni, will not deny the Christ". The conviction showed here by Moroni to stick true to his faith even in the most difficult circumstances is inspiring to me and I am determined to do the same and never deny the Christ. Jesus is my Savior and Redeemer and I so testify in the name of Jesus Christ that it is true.

Have a great week everyone! Good job if you read all that and understood it, but in a short summary: pray for Glenda and Diana so they can prepare for baptism and be ready and please pray for all the miracles that God has for us. Thanks for your help and support! I love you all!
