Easter Miracles!

Hi friends!

Many awesome things happened this week! Sure, it wasn't a perfect week but it was fun and we had an amazing branch activity!

On things that happened this week:
 - We had our multi-zone conference this week! It was awesome to hear from our amazing President McClellan. His talk was focused on repentance and on how repenting daily will inspire us to share the gospel more. I also got to see a bunch of old friends. Our next multi-zone conference will be the week before I finish my mission so we're in the final stretch now. I won't see my old friends again until the very end, and I'm excited that I still have several weeks before that to work and invite more people to Christ.
 - After the multi-zone conference I bought some awesome (but a little expensive) ties! I was so excited to get them and to have them as souvenirs for my brothers and father, but then I lost the ties on the bus! (There goes my money down the drain). But luckily enough the next day we had to travel by bus to Quimistan and I discovered that it was the same bus where I lost the ties, and that they were still there! What a miracle for me. Now I have my ties back!
 - Our next door neighbors moved away, so that means no more free wifi for us. But we also took it as an amazing opportunity to serve our neighbors and increase relationships with members and missionaries.
 - We ate a ton of cake this week because a bunch of the people we've been teaching had their birthdays this week! Please wish Elder Lopez (my companion), Miguel Caballero, and Genesis a happy birthday!
 - This week we also did a ton of contacting because we're running out of people to teach XD. We've now met two couples that could potentially progress: Elena and Adalí and Elsa and Orlin
 - We had a branch activity this week that was super fun! 60 people came! Unfortunately, very few of them were friends/non-members but a ton of inactive members came and then joined us for the Sabbath day as well! It was a success in my books!
 - One of the people that came to the branch activity asked us for a priesthood blessing because she was having severe stomach pains. It's always super sad to see people in pain and suffering, but it's inspiring to see their faith in asking for diving help. Afterwards some members helped them head to a hospital to get a check up and receive the medical help she needs.
 - We also have another friend in the hospital - please keep Genesis and Javier in your prayers
 - Edelin (Yin) is getting baptized tomorrow! His interview went well! He joined us to church another week and this time there was no traffic to slow him down! He's so excited and we are too!
 - We also received a phone call yesterday saying that someone wants to be baptized! This person lives in Macuelizo ... kinda far away, but we're going to visit him on Wednesday!
 - We also received a referral from a missionary in Washington DC who wants us to teach his father. We asked where his father lived, and he sent us his location on the map.  The referral is our next-door neighbor! We're now chatting with him and becoming friends to be able to share the gospel with him. Even more! As we were chatting with him over his missionary son, I discovered that I know him and took photos with him during the temple open house! He asked us for an English plack that says Elder Navarro (maybe Elder Muñoz remembers this) and we got permission to give one to him. For me it's a miracle to see past experiences and friends come back in surprising ways. I hope to help his father learn the gospel and feel the Savior's love!

Anyways. That's all for this week! I had a fun Easter week though many parts of it did NOT go according to plan. I testify that prayers and faith go a long way when you don't know what to do. When you keep taking steps forward, then God really does show the way. I love you guys so much and I thank you for your constant support! Have a great week!

- Élder Grant

PS. Thanks mom for the cool ai generated photos you sent me of some cool events of my mission. I usually don't include photos in my emails but this time I'm including: Jesus riding a skateboard, Elder Palmer, Snyder, Evanson, Porter and Me in a previous multi-zone conference, Anime me, Birthday lunch with Elder Lopez and the pensionista's family
