Give Me My Money!

Hi friends!

So a friend told us about a prank titled: Give me my money! We decided to do it at the office. It was fun! If you know about it and have done it, tell me how it went!

Now, this week was a super cool week. There's a new person we're teaching named Marlon, and he's super awesome. He's super committed to learning more and joined us at church last week! He's a super smart person who asks super good questions about the church and the Book of Mormon. He's super busy during the week, so we're going to visit him today and tomorrow. We also had a short lesson over the phone with him a few days ago!

In other news, Briana from Las Brisas got baptized yesterday! She's the pensionista's great-granddaughter and it was a joy being with her and the pensionista family during my time in Las Brisas. It makes me think about my own baptism 11 years ago. It was a critical time of decision, and I still remember and care about the decision and promise I made at 8 years old. It was a defining moment for me and one I'll never look back on.

This week I am also accompanied by a new friend! Elder Herrera will be joining me and Elder Muñoz for the next few weeks, and then Elder Muñoz will leave and I'll stay with Elder Herrera! He's a super chill dude and I'm excited to be with him for these next few months! Yesterday we had to drive down to pick him up and it was the most I had ever driven in the mission. Honduran traffic is crazy! We survived, though, and are now visiting and teaching all we can!

Now that Halloween is over (we don't celebrate it here in Honduras so I completely forgot that it was this week) we are now looking forward to Thanksgiving! This is the best time of year to take a look back to what was accomplished and what blessings were received. Gratitude is a Godly trait, and I invite all of you to try to develop it in your lives. I've started reading the new Saints book and I'm so grateful to be able to read about the history of the church and learn about the many, many ways God has worked in all our lives to lead us here to this beautiful day.

To top this report off, we also had our first Multi-Zone conference in a good while, and it was amazing to participate in one again. I loved the talks given by President and Sister McClellan and the APs and was able to help out by giving a small talk on EnglishConnect and helping with vaccinating the missionaries against the flu. President McClellan talked about how to find happiness in the work, and how to see others as God sees us.

Anyways! That's my week! It's been a fun one, and I hope that you've all had good weeks too! Thanks for taking the time to read this!
