Let’s Go On A Field Trip!
Hi friends!
Sorry for the delay with the email! We've been helping out with the San Pedro Sula Temple open house every day, and last Saturday we stayed there to help out with the crazy 11500 person crowd instead of having P-Day. We got permission to push p-day back to today though, so now you get to hear from me!
This past week has been fun and crazy and it has not gone according to plan, but it's been amazing at the same time.
First: To report on Secretary stuff we did this week:
- I made missionary work reports to send to the stake presidents, and then I cleaned up the documents so they're ready for next month.
- I spent a bunch of time preparing phones for new missionaries, and organizing the stock of emergency phones we have.
- I helped make the quincena video where I got destroyed by money
- Helped out with several emergency transfers that we had to do
- Helped Elder Muñoz go grocery shopping for the temple open house
- We helped the temple open house go well
Second: To report on Missionary stuff we did this week:
- We had an awesome Mission Coordination meeting where we coordinated how the members will help us teach this next week
- We went through the temple with our friends (it's so pretty!)
- We had an awesome day where we had a ton of lessons and invited a ton of people to the open house
- We invited literally every Uber driver to the temple open house
This week has been fun and busy, and we're all happy to have a day of rest because we're exhausted!
Elder Griffin, the next financial secretary came in this week, so we have a new friend in the house!
Elder Muñoz got sick (but now he's feeling better!)
I got to see a ton of friends from my previous areas!
There were two holidays this week! We got to eat cake!
I've been listening to a bunch of talks by Russell M. Nelson and they're super insightful! (Happy Birthday President!)
Okay. I'm starting to run out of things to say, so I'm going to end it off here. Thank you so much for reading and have a great week! I love you guys so much!
Elder Grant
