I’m A Lazy Pants
The title says it well. I'm a lazy pants and I don't want to write my weekly email.
BUT, I'm trying to be less lazy in good habits and I've now started making breakfast every morning and exercising too! I've also started writing in my journal every day! So I'm making all the good habits! We'll have to see if I can keep those habits next week because this next week will be CrAzY!!!.
This week has been super fun! I've been learning a lot and have been accomplishing the tasks given to me pretty well! The president has made it very clear that many of the tasks in the secretary business are confidential and can't be shared, but I can share that I've been catching up on tasks that are behind, and working on strengthening the mission Facebook page in preparation for the temple trip. We also spent a bunch of this week preparing for the upcoming transfers, which is CrAzY! There's a lot of missionaries coming and going, so we have to prepare everything for them. It's a lot of work, but a super fun challenge! I'm enjoying it.
The offices have kept me in a good mood because the mood/atmosphere goes from 1 to 10 in 15 seconds. It's crazy and there's always something to laugh about. For example: at the end of a day of work we said an evening prayer and started giving goodnight hugs. As I went to hug Elder Perry I was feeling calm and drowsy, but 10 seconds later I was on the floor on a mattress at the bottom of a missionary dog-pile. Another example: Elder Smith got a game of Cover Your Assets and we've been playing every night together, but it is filled with a lot of screaming and laughing! It's never a boring moment in the office.
Today we have a baptism for a young man named Justin! Please keep him in your prayers so that his baptism may go well! Also, Celenia Paz from Las Brisas is getting baptized tomorrow, so please pray for blessings over her as well! Finally, we invited the Peña family to be baptized this week, but their house burned down, so please pray for blessings over them as they recover from that! They are awesome and are still showing so much faith, even with this trial, and I know that God will bless them a ton!
This next week we have transfers, and it will be SO busy! I don't know if we'll be able to leave and proselyte during the days of the transfer, but it should all go well (hopefully!) Please wish us luck!
Thanks for everything! I love you guys so much and you're awesome! Please keep being awesome!
