I've Got No Time And I've Got No Money

Hi friends!


I've had a pretty busy and interesting week, but I don't have any time to share it with you. We had a last minute change of plans that included 6 hours (of my 10 hour p-day) in the bus without my phone to write. I busied myself with reading the Book of Mormon for those 6 hours, which was really fun, but I'm now home with just a handful of minutes left before I gotta start proselyting again.


I promise that you guys will recieve this week's email in the following week, but I still gotta write it. Most likely you will recieve two weekly emails this next p-day.


I suppose I should give you guys a little information about what is going on with my life. Here are three things going on.


1) Had two events with the local Stake President (one of them being the reason I can't write very much today)


2) My comp is now the District Leader, so I can now learn how that job works


3) I got to meet my Missionary Nephew (I'll explain that in my full weekly email)


Anyways. I gotta wrap up for today. I'm sorry for any inconvenience this short email will bring, and I will be back to my regular email schedule next week.

Hi friends! This is my first mission email, and wow. I'm here! I've spent 18 years wondering if I would go on a mission, and now I am on my first week! This week I was at home doing online MTC, and I will be in the Mexico MTC (the CCM) by the end of next week. That might also mean that my P-day will be on a different day next week. Anyways, I will try to keep you all updated as often as I can. Sunday I was set apart as a missionary today. I was able to have my immediate family members as well as some grandparents be with me as I became an official missionary. Monday First day of my mission! For some reason this day took two weeks to complete, and it was TERRIFYING. When Grandparent's Day And Children's Day Collide...

Hi friends!!! Welp, I've now downloaded more general conference talks than I know what to do with. Do you guys think I'll be able to read every talk from 1995 to now during my mission?  I'm currently working my way backwards, starting from this last general conference and going back in time. At the time of writing this email I am ~40% of the way through the October 2022 general conference. At this time I'm not putting much focus into the general conference talks, instead focusing more on learning and memorizing Book of Mormon scriptures because that is the resource I will use most for teaching. During personal study I focus on the lessons and the doctrine (Preach my Gospel and the Scriptures), and outside of personal study I check out new resources and delve into topics I'm interested in. Goodbye Forest

Hi friends! I don't have much time to talk because I'm busy packing up my stuff!  That's right friends! I'm outta here! This forest is terrible and I don't like it, so I'm skedadling to another part of Honduras (hopefully a part with less trees) All jokes though (well, besides leaving the area)! I've loved my time in El Bosque and it's been a crazy 4 weeks climbing one mountain to the next dodging mosquitos and mototaxis and baptizing like crazy with Elder Sopon! They've been chaotic, stressful, and fun, but duty is calling me to new places! Now some of you may be saying ... wait a minute! a transfer is 6 weeks, but you've only been here for 4! You are correct, but I've been given a special assignment from the president, and have to leave now. So while it's bittersweet to leave an area so soon after getting there, it is what it is.  After being in two areas for 6 months each, it's a big contrast to only be in an area for 4 weeks. Now ...
