No More Photos

No joke! Check out my Google Photos to find out!  I ran out of storage space and decided it would be best to get rid of 100% of everything. I took 34GB of photos these past 7 ½ months. Hi friends! I hope you all had a great week! I sure had an interesting one! I don't want to spend too much time writing, but I'll mention a few notable things about this past week. Notable things:  - One day we contacted ~10 References. Now we have a few more people to teach.   - We painted more of the mural, its *almost finished.  I was also assigned to design and paint a parrot which was stressful for me (but I think it turned out well)  - I'm still sick with a cough. It just isn't giving me a break, but I'm not being left in pain about it.  - We are approaching a baptism, things are going pretty good but prayers for Kimberly López would be greatly appreciated   - We had a video call lesson and a text message lesson. Those were fun!  - We deep cleaned th...

So I'll keep things short cause I got no time this week. Hi friends!  This week we...  - Got sick  - Painted  - Painted  - Painted some more  - Watched The Chosen (season 4 just came out from what I hear)  - Forgot to turn off the water hose feeding into the washing machine   - Had interviews with the mission president  - Got a new smoke detector!!!  - I had a birthday!!!  - We set a baptismal date for Kimberly López!!! Those are a handful of things that I can remember happened this week. I hope you all have a great week and keep on push through the hard times of this life! 3 Nephi 23:5 "And whosoever will hearken unto my words and repenteth and is baptized, the same shall be saved. Search the prophets, for many there be that testify of these things." These are the words of Jesus Christ during his visit in the Americas. I love how it shows what matters most: to repent and be baptized (or to follow in the steps of Jesus Chr...

My Comp's Dad Is Mr. Bean?!

Hi friends! I'm sorry for pranking you guys last week.  That prank even went into my weekly video call with my family and my mom was  not  happy about it.  Anyways, I now feel like I owe it to you guys to share with you.   I am now in area Las Brisas in zone San Pedro Sula.  After being situated in a chilly area many hours away from the mission center, I am now super duper close to all of the action and am able to frequently hear from the leaders of the mission.  I loved my last area, and I would never trade it for any other place, but I'm so glad to get a new area with new challenges and new blessings.  I feel especially blessed to now be so close to everything I need, rather than a mototaxi's drive away. Right now I am loving being just down the street from: The Chapel, Our Pensionista, Our source of purified water, etc. I am also loving being part of the zone of the APs and Secretaries (including my trainer, Elder Miles).  I can also ...

Mochito Memories

Hi guys!  Now that I’m in a new area (if you want to know where it is, read my last email) I figured I would do a quick recap/stat sheet of all that went on during my time in El Mochito! I'm going to do this in bullet point format, so let's go! In El Mochito I had: 4 companions 2 official companions 2 unofficial companions (emergency divisions) 2 trainers  48 days with Elder Miles  113 days with Elder Franco 3 baptisms  Running water Electricity Wifi A bed  During my time in El Mochito we went through: A monster thunder storm 1½ months without water 1½ months without pants  The only cold that exists in Honduras 2 weeks as a trio A motorcycle accident 1 week without my comps 1 week with other comps Special days we had were: Independence day (lame) Children's day General Conference Halloween (Honduras is too superstitious for Halloween) Thanksgiving Christmas (cool) New Years The b-days of my parents and sister The day we discovered Baleada Locas In El Mochit...

All Hail The Tower

Hi guys! I'm not sure I mentioned this last week... but I'm now in a new area.  This is a new developement, but I was aware of it last week.  Anyways, this past week has been spent packing, and then unpacking all of my stuff. I was definentally pretty fantic the first half of the week because I was given hardly any time to pack, and my comp got a pretty rough cough and was wiped out because he couldn't sleep from it. Somehow, though, we made it. From the first half of my week, the most notable thing I can mention is that we visited people and I got their autographs logged in my English Book of Mormon.  It was sad saying goodbye to so many good people, and I regret not getting the signature and final goodbye of my last convert: Rotman.  I don't know if he's aware yet that I left the area, and that makes me sad. Anyways, I really want to get into the meat of what's happened this week, and it's that I moved out!  That's right folks! I finally got sick of El...
